It’s Monday! What are you reading? June 13th, 2022

It’s Monday! What are you Reading is a weekly meme hosted by Kathryn from Book Date, a place to share and discuss what we’ve read in the past week and what we’re in the middle of or are planning to read this week.

What I read / listened to last week:

The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley- I liked this Paris-based (could it have been set in another city or country?-yes, sure) mystery-thriller. I was almost halfway through and still had no clue what was going on, then bang! a major twist and everything started making sense!

What I am reading/listening to now:

The House of Blood and by Sarah J.Maas- this one unexpectedly turned up in my library and I just wanted to read a sample, got drawn into the story and here we are…It is on a lengthy side, so it will probably take me most of the week to finish it.

What I’m reading /listening to next:

It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey

The Missing Girls of Alardyce House by Heather Atkinson

How did your last week go and what are you reading this week?

    1. It’s an ebook this time. I did listen to 33 hours of Outlander because of the narrator, so I know what you mean 😁
      There’s a lot of world-building, but it doesn’t feel overwhelming…yes, I’m hooked😁 Hope you love it too!

      1. Danita Porter is the best! I recently listened to the Fiery Cross so I know exactly what you mean! She also narrates a great historical mystery series by C.S. Harris if you like that genre. She is so fabulous!
