Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new prompt is suggested for bloggers to either respond to as it is or put a spin on it. This week’s topic is Books I’ve Added to my TBR and Forgotten why. I discovered that this Top Ten Twenty could have easily been Top Twenty or even Thirty. Here they go:
1 What Alice forgot by Liane Moriarty
2 The Fold by Peter Clines
3 Wool by Hugh Howey
4 Bloodchild by Octavia Butler
5 The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E.Lockhart
6 Hunger: A Memoir of My Body by Roxane Gay
7 Josh and Hazel’s Guide to not Dating by Christina Lauren
8 Vita Nostra by Marina Dyachenko
9 The Last Place You Look by Kristen Lepionka
10 Eliza and her Monsters by Francesca Zappia
Have you read any of these books? If yes, did you like or hate them? Would you recommend them?
Thank you for stopping by. Happy reading!
I haven’t read any of these 🙈 But I’ve seen Eliza and her monsters come across my feed on IG quite a few times.
Hope you enjoy these titles if you have a chance to read them 🙂

Thank you, Gigi! I have high hopes for them, although they have been on the list for three years. Sooner or later 😁

🤣 And here I thought I was the only one who’s had unread books on my shelves for 3+ years 😜

I read What Alice Forgot in 2013. I gave it 4-stars. It is a book about a woman with amnesia after an accident. She wakes up to find she is getting a divorce and fighting for custody of her three children. She has to reconstruct the last ten years of her life. There was humor and it was mostly entertaining. I liked Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty more than I did this one. I liked this one a little more than The Husband’s Secret.

Thank you, Kerrin. ❤ Perhaps, I should substitute it with Big Little Lies then.

Never read these. Lol, love the idea for this post though, I think we all have books on our tbr list that we don’t remember why we added them, I definitely do! 😀

I just keep reading new releases bypassing my tbr which is getting really old. Would love to see your list😁

😁 My brain just filled the gap, I wouldn’t have noticed. I’ll try to get a copy and start it as soon as I can.

I have a few of these on my TBR too. The ones I’m most excited to get to are Eliza And Her Monsters & What Alice Forgot. I can’t remember exactly what it’s about (although I think it was a dystopian 😅) but I remember adding Wool to my TBR after seeing it in a bookshop. I dread to think how many books I’ve added to my TBR and forgotten about 😂

I deleted half of my tbr last year, but these looked interesting, so they stayed. One year later…they are still there😁😁😁

Whenever I’ve attempted to sort through mine in the past I just seem to find more to add instead 😂🙈

I’ve read the Christina Lauren book — it was fun! A good, light summer beach read. I’ve had What Alice Forgot and Wool on my TBR for years. A friend raves about Wool, and I still intend to read it eventually. And I’ve been meaning to read older Lianne Moriarty books, since I’ve enjoyed some of her newer books. Interesting list!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s had Wool on tbr for years😁 Something’s telling me I’ll read the Christina Lauren book before the others 😁😁😁

I read ‘What Alice Forgot’ quite a while back and remember that I enjoyed it. I hope you will too if you decide to read it. Happy reading.

This is a fun post theme! Agreed with Wool, I could recognize that cover anywhere and added it to my TBR years ago but can’t remember what all I’d heard of that was good about it lol.

😁 I should really check if it is available in the library and make up my mind if it was worth keeping it on my tbr all these years! Glad you also have it ❤❤❤

What Alice Forgot and Josh and Hazel are the only ones I even recognize. Are you still going to read them or delete them Toni.
